Front of the cottage
The ground floor
The new high spec, modern kitchen provides you with four instant response induction hobs (with apporpriate pans), fan assisted oven and grill, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and separate freezer. Making excellent use of the space, the kitchen opens out into the living area – which means cooking can be a social occasion. Alternatively – close the dividing doors to prepare a surprise meal or for privacy if you’re staying on the sofabed. The ample workspace in the kicthen also doubles up as a breakfast bar. The sofa comfortably seats 3 people and the lounge ends in a glass conservatory overlooking the deck and garden. The downstairs bathroom includes a bath and shower. Dusk at Lyme Cottage… light a candle or two and perhaps pour yourself a glass of something lovely! Close the doors to the lounge, pull down the blinds and fold out the sofabed for drop-in guests.
Upstairs at Lyme Cottage
It’s no good having a fantastic house to holiday in unless you’ve got a really comfy bed to sleep in!
We’d like your stay at Lyme Cottage to feel like an indulgence. There is free WiFi throughout the cottage, with a wired connection downstairs if you require. The superking bed in the second room has been custom built and unzips/unlocks to form two single beds if required. Just let us know which configuration you prefer before your arrival. You can hear the waves from the bright front double bedroom with the windows open! You’ll find an iron, ironing board and hair dryer in the cupboards – as well as a full length mirror and plenty of room for your bags and clothes. Dusk at Lyme Cottage… turn back the duvet and relax! Upstairs WC with shower.
Carefully chosen Scottish Fine sea kelp soap and hand cream. We’ve tried to ensure that everything at Lyme Cottage is top quality – down to our careful choice of soft, fluffy towels. Big, stripy beach towels are also provided for your use during your stay.
Outdoor spaces at Lyme Cottage
The sun trap of a garden looks out towards the sea, the decking and parasol make the perfect outdoor dining space and we hope you’ll agree that the path, made up of 200 million year old blue lias stone, sets everything off…

The gorgeous little rear indoor-outdoor patio area at Lyme Cottage offers seclusion for an evening drink or a quiet meal for two!
A view out into the patio during a less sunny day in Lyme Regis!
The stairs to the back path can be used to access the house when the living room is in use as a third bedroom… also handy for coming in with sandy/wet feet from the sea as it offers direct access to the downstairs bathroom.
