Set a couple of streets back from the famous Cobb and originally built for Lyme Regis’ coastguards, Lyme Cottage has been completely refurbished to a high standard and is now available as a self catering holiday cottage. The renovations to the Grade 2 listed property have both revived the charm of the original building and incorporated modern facilities to ensure you have a fantastic break.

Lyme Cottage is small but in no sense pokey. It has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a well planned kitchen and a deck/garden with sea view. From the window in the double room you can see the Cobb and the second bedroom has specially designed beds that can be used as twins or zipped together to form a luxury kingsize double if you prefer. The cottage also has a carefully selected comfy sofa bed providing an extra double should you need it. We now have three galleries of photos to peruse.
The Hawkes family: "The cottage was beautifully clean and fresh on our arrival..." Denise, Colin & Joan: "We really liked the house. The accommodation and equipment were excellent... I am pleased I found the cottage - I would not hesitate to stay again..." The Simmons family: "We enjoyed the well thought out design of the house and brilliant central location. We will definitely be back."
During the winter months Lyme Bay offers stunning views that change minute to minute as storms roll through. Wrap up and take a walk down to the Cobb to watch the waves crash over the breakwaters, or listen to the ferocious seas from your window... Lyme Cottage is a fantastic winter retreat. The spectacular Dorset and Devon countryside is also on your doorstep - breathtaking at any time of year.
Winter prices start at just £750 per week. Click for more details.
